We never thought for a moment that anyone would want to go through with an extreme photo shoot at a beach location in October (that’s right, October!), let alone a bride wishing to trash her dress.
Feeling all refreshed after the honeymoon and eager to complete their wedding photography package, Jane decided to take part in our ‘Trash The Dress’ session and we were thrilled when we received the call asking if we were up for it? (of course we are!). Jane wanted this shoot to be exclusive and Jane being Jane, we knew this had extreme written all over it. Eager not to disappoint, we had the perfect location for her. It was Sunday morning and we began preparations at Jane & Rob’s home. An hour or so later Jane appeared with a new hairstyle and make-up that made Rob’s jaw drop! The dress was back on and she was looking a million dollars, absolutely stunning! So, off we went to a coastal beauty spot in Northumberland popular with fishermen, ramblers, climbers and upon arrival, we were greeted by them all. We had a few puzzled looks (with smiles of course) as we made our way to the secluded shoreline. People were keen to see what was going on, it’s not often you get see two photographers, a videographer and a bride at a remote location and of course, we surprised their best guesses. Undeterred by the spectators Jane clung to cliff faces, rolled around in the sand, laid about on rocks as the tide crashed in and finally took a little plunge into the mouth of the Rumbling Kern as Rob watched in awe. It’s hard to believe after looking at the images that Jane doesn’t do this kind of thing for a living, she was great!
Jane was the star of the day but of course we cannot forget Rob for helping us with some of the shots and Anthony who filmed the session, well done everyone and thank you! This was a perfect trashing session and another fantastic day that will stay with us for a while and we know that Jane and Rob will be thrilled with the results! The movie can be seen under the ‘Trash The Dress’ section of our site and if you’re a bride thinking…”I wouldn’t mind a bit of that!” then please get touch, we’re up for it if you are!
